We are looking to recruit for one of our clients - an Automotive company that has been providing industry-leading consulting services and is creating its unique tools for sustainable solutions that customers can reuse for generations,

System Test Engineer

Location: Iasi, Sibiu, Timisoara
Level of expertise: Middle to Senior
Working Model: Hybrid
No. of vacancies: Multiple

Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

- very good understanding of testing principles, techniques and methodologies;
- system testing knowledge: defining test scenarios, test cases, automated tests creation and execution;
- familiarity with version control systems ( Git, MKS) and bug tracking systems ( JIRA);
- experience with automated testing tools /frameworks;
- basic classic AUTOSAR knowledge;
- previous Canoe operation like sending/receiving Communication packages, basic Diagnostic operations, DTC verifications;
- Embedded C experience (for cases where automated test cases need to be written);
- basic Microcontroller Know-how;
- strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills;
- good analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving thinking;
- English language skills - spoken and written.

Are also appreciated:

- relevant certifications such as ISTQ;
- good knowledge in prioritization test cases for execution;
- previous experience in defining test plans, test strategies and testing concepts;
- familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins).

Main duties / responsibilities:

- design, develop and execute automated test cases that verify the system functionality, performance and reliability;
- perform integration testing in order to check the interactions between system components and interfaces with external systems;
- define performance testing in order to evaluate the system’s performance under various conditions, such as load and stress;
- identify, isolate, document and report system errors;
- track the entire workflow of the system errors (from reporting to resolution) using error tracking tools/systems;
- perform regression testing and re-execute test cases that are in focus to ensure that the system still works as expected after the changes were made, that previously detected errors or new errors do not occur;
- create and offer maintenance for test documentation (test specification, test execution, test scripts and test reports);
- participate in requirements and system review meetings in order to provide an input from the testing point of view;
- communicate with the system engineers and software developers to have a better understanding of the project;
- continuously improve the existing testing procedures and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
